Below The Knee (BTK) Intervention Simulation
In Partnership with Tulane University Simulation Center

    Chairman: Robert Gallino, MD

Below The Knee (BTK) Intervention Simulation is designed for physicians, cath lab technologists and medical professionals performing interventional procedures in small arteries in the lower leg. This module provides a training opportunity for limb-‐salvaging procedures, in a learner focused and risk-free environment.

The BTK module assumes that the user has experience in peripheral angiography and is conversant with interventional devices and associated techniques. The module provides essential procedural and technical skills training intended for medical professionals looking to methodically gain knowledge of the procedure. The unique module has five cases with a variety of lesions and treatment challenges.
