But once he decided "a doctor" is what he wanted to be, Dr. Davis found a passion for heart care. "I decided to become a cardiologist during my residency. While on rotation, I felt I could make the biggest impact helping people with heart and vascular diseases," states Dr. Davis. Once in Detroit, Dr. Davis began his practice at St. John Health System to make a difference, but also to be close to loved ones. "St. John offers first-rate quality care, and I immediately experienced the skill and proficiency of the support staff. They create a truly caring environment. It also helped that my brother and friends practiced at St. John too," expresses Dr. Davis. Dr. Davis received his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, and he completed his residency in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
